We've probably all had a boss in a game that felt impossible, but what about those bosses that were so well hidden and difficult at the some times, you sometimes didn't even believe it could be real until it kicked your ass a dozen times in a row?
Soul Calibur III's Night Terror was that boss for me, what about you guys? You don't have to watch all the video, but i did just to reminisce on the enemy's power back then.

Kingdom Hearts. Kurt Zisa. Pretty much the hardest boss ever, and that doesn't change just because the thread was necrobumped.

Edited by Ossku: 2/10/2014 3:32:58 PMYiazmat from FF XII, this -blam!-er is insane. Let me explain a bit why none of you cant find any competition to this boss. 1. Its got 50 Million HP. 50. Million. Thats more than any creature from any Final Fantasy ever. 2. You cant deal over 9999 damage in the game. Which means youre going to fight this guy for hours. 3. This bad boy likes to hit you with instakill's. 4. The lower its health goes, the harder it gets.

I'm just glad I don't have to say Bonetail from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. Killed that bastard on my first try. Getting to him was a pain in the ass, of course.

Every spawn killer... But being legit... I never really had too much of a challenge.. I usually adapt quickly to take out a boss... I remember the fighting/rock type elite 4 guy from pokemon red was a challenge for me when I was younger.. All hail the original pokemon

Diablo 2 Uber Bosses. Lol, Nope --> Run Away! Also KH Sephiroth.

Whether or not it technically counts, the Creator ghost in F-Zero GX made me rage. It's not the time trial ghost that you have to beat that makes it hard; you can actually beat it without boosting once, it's the lack of guard rails on the entire track and all the sharp turns that made it so hard.

Edited by Trollheim: 7/26/2013 8:04:20 PMThere are very, very few bosses in retail games that have broken my spirit as a gamer. Generally only modded or internet games have truly beaten me. That isn't to say there aren't encounters in games I've played that I haven't beaten, but it is generally more lack of interest of trying to beat them, rather than wanting to beat them but surrendering. For example, I'm currently stuck on Jack Norman in RE:R on the Hell difficulty, but I just lost interest in trying to beat him, not that he was too hard. Armstrong of MGR:R was WAYYYY harder than him but I ended up beating Armstrong because I WANTED to beat him.

lol, I don't think the guy playing understood ringouts. He wouldn't sidestep to get away from them. Sephiroth, Kingdom Hearts.
