How long do you guys think a Spiderman thread would last on Waypoint?

Their mods are ridiculous. Have one opinion, banned for 2,000 years.

The Halo waypoint community is fundamentally broken and here's why: 343 was formed in haste as a cash grab for Microsoft. The whole idea behind 343 and the waypoint community was based entirely on money. Because of this, they are not really concerned about people. Microsoft essentially did the easy thing, and not the right thing in forming 343 really quickly. Because of this 343 did not have adequate time to find good moderators like bungie did. This is evident in everything surrounding 343 and waypoint. Halo 4 is the worst selling halo game ever. When halo 4 came out I'm sure you all remember the vast amount of problems it had. The personas of 343 all seem very fake and forced too; very unnatural. And lastly the moderators are just horrible because they were chosen too quickly and for the wrong reasons. The whole community of waypoint is fundamentally flawed and I don't think it will ever get fixed. Halo is dead and 343 is doomed. 343 and the waypoint community are a great example of what happens when you do the easy thing, and not the right thing.

That is one point of view OP, not the truth but certainly a point of view. I think you apply the term dictatorship too haphazardly. Relax the off topic thread is only temporarily locked for a variety of reasons, not a single reason or single member so don't take it so personally. Regarding community I believe it is what we choose to make of it. I know plenty of good and bad posters at Waypoint, just like B.net or GAF or any Internet forum really. The mod team over at Waypoint have held game nights, giveaways and are just Halo fans giving their time, for free I might add, to keep things clean. We mods have opinions about 343i and recent Halo games/franchise as diverse as non-mod fans. We are one and the same. Are you really surprised there are different methods and attitudes from Waypoint mods? Frankly given your name calling I would lock your posts/threads too. Grow up.

most thing are offcourse not allowed and the other half is bullshit. go cry to your friend about it. if you post here give good reasons why and do not ly about it.

I knew Snick long before she started going to Waypoint. We were good friends, even. I played with her and Ka Five on a regular basis. Then when she became a mod, it all changed. If she's not playing with mods, she's playing with her Grifball team. I haven't even talked to her in about a year. I haven't talked to Ka Five either, but I don't have a problem with him for the most part. On Waypoint, it seems like she can do whatever she wants. She can lock threads and ban people for the most random reasons. There have been times when it looks like the person didn't do anything wrong at all, but the thread got locked because of it. I actually like most of the mods there. They do their jobs really well, and they're actually good people. Snick just has this superiority thing going on that I don't understand. As for OT, nobody was banned solely for posting in color. They were banned for SPAMMING smileys. (Not posting one or two, but a ton!) Just because it's an off-topic thread, doesn't mean you should post spam. It just means you don't have a specific topic you have to talk about. When they warned you not to spam, you should've listened. It's gotten to the point where it's hard to have a conversation without the spam and random nonsense getting in the way. I'm not sure locking it will have solved anything. I don't think it needed to be locked this long either. A day or two would've been fine. Some of us actually use it for real conversations and are being punished because of it. Just my opinion about all this. If you really hate Waypoint that much, you don't have to come back. Your spam won't be missed.
