What's the most spoiled thing you've ever gotten?

My dad has a part time job at Saks 5th Avenue, and gets a company discount. Today, I got a $300 Canali sweater for about $50. And that's not even priciest I've gotten... He also bought me a 2002 Mini Cooper (granted he bought it from his friend for about $3750) with 50,000 miles. And I was complaining because it's a manual transmission... So, I'm a spoiled brat. Can you guys top that?

    • Nothing, my parents taught me that if I wanted something, I had to work hard for it and I thank them for that, I'm not self-entitled person who thinks deserves everything.
And I was complaining because it's a manual transmission...
Ha! Plebian. Seriously, though. Floppy's right. I live in a 1st-world country. I've never had to be too worried about feeding myself, clothing myself, or having a place to live. There are no wars, or violent protests, or starvation, or even violent crimes happening outside my front door. I have great friends, and while we've had some biggish family issues over the years, my family and step-family all get along and we love each other. I have the ability to get on my computer and talk with all of you nutjobs. If that isn't spoiled, I don't know what is. Materially, my dad got me, my brother, and my sister all iPads for Christmas 2 years ago, and he's in the ANG with 20% of his pay cut. My mom and stepdad paid for my $550 dollar drumline fee this year and last, no questions asked, when they could have just made me pay for it myself. All of them take care of my gas and car insurance so I can concentrate on schoolwork.

I have two very nice bikes and an expensive laptop, none of which I bought myself. I am thankful for everything my parents do for me, and I intend on repaying them in some way when I'm older. Edit: I didn't realize this thread was just bumped, sorry.

    • WHEN WE HAD THE SALT LAKE CITY OLYMPICS HERE IN 2002, MARKER (COMPANY) RELEASED A NEW JACKET/COAT THAT WAS GIVEN ONLY TO VOLUNTEERS AND COST AROUND 700$. I'VE ALWAYS WANTED ONE OF THESE, AND WE'VE HAD ZERO SUCCESS IN FINDING THEM. BUT FOR AN EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT THIS YEAR, MY MOTHER FOUND ME ONE AT A RELATIVELY ABANDONED THRIFT STORE FOR 12$, IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER BEEN THIS HAPPY BEFORE. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

          • I got a Compaq 8710p laptop for free at a garage sale... that's about it. Everything else I own I worked for, except for my room and board, which is actually a pretty big blessing.

I'm a white straight dude living in one of the wealthiest places in the world with a self-built PC. I earned all A's the past semester, the lowest final grade I've ever gotten in a class is a C+. I have an iPhone 4S, a music library with no pirated music and 24 albums, a $300 Astro A50 gaming headset, and my wallet holds at least 50 dollars in spending cash at all times (people at my high school go off-campus and buy Phillie cheese steaks for lunch). I have 2 guitars and an electric bass. And I'm only 14 years old. The ultimate spoiled brat. oh shit I forgot: a dude in my middle school graduating class rented out all of AT&T park for an entire day and invited over 500 people... And his family paid for EVERYTHING.

            • Everything I own including my computer, punching bag, air gun, and bike were purchased by my parents. To be honest I feel really spoiled and I'm not very comfortable accepting gift after gift after gift without having earned them. The most expensive thing was the trailer they bought me which was over $1000. Yes I live in a trailer by myself, I ain't got no job, no plan for the future, and I'm broke as shit.

            • Gf's stepdad gave me and her 2 executive tickets to see Manchester United last night, both worth £300 a pop with an inclusive 4 course meal, complementary bar, best seats in the stadium and some cool memorabilia. I'm not even a football fan, lol. It was fun. But I'm from a very working class background, so I've never been 'spoilt' by my parents nor would I care to have been.

            • Well my parents hardly buy me anything besides my gas and clothes. Pretty much everything else comes out of my pocket, but I can't complain because I have it WAY better than most people in the world. I do spoil myself though. I bought myself a sweet Epiphone Les Paul (I know, Epiphone usually isn't great but mine is extremely good for $400. Les Paul Ultra III) which can kick out some wicked sounds, a PS4 that I bought as my Christmas present to myself, and an ultralight airplane that I like to fly around in. I'd say I have it pretty good even if my family isn't anywhere near being rich.

            • After getting me a car as a graduation present, my parents got me another one after the first broke down. Granted the second one wasn't too terribly expensive or nice, but I would never imagine that my parents would get me two cars. I'm beyond grateful.
