Not all planets available in first game...

So I picked up the Australian Gameinformer today on my travels and noticed an interview with Harold Ryan (Bungie President) within its pages. I found the last 2 questions quite interesting.
How far can we travel in our spaceship? Are we stuck to the solar system? I wouldn't use the word "stuck," but it takes a lot of effort to build those gameplay spaces and make them dynamic. We have shown a lot of planets, but we haven't yet said which ones you are going to go to in the first year of Destiny. We're going to provide a rich and full experience that will expand over time.

So rather than releasing a Destiny 2 or Destiny 3 the game will just expand? We absolutely think of Destiny as an evolving growing world - it's alive. Its a place you go and visit. A place you belong to; a place where you can hang out with your friends and share experiences.
So it sounds like the DLC and sequels will unlock and expand new areas/planets while still preserving the older content. I thought that was quite interesting. I wonder if we will still be able to view all the planets on the map from the start - even though we won't be able to visit....bare in mind it's all a bit vague, I'm just thinking aloud.

 • Yeah I'm not buying this. There's no way the sequels will simply be an expansion onto the game. The sequels I'm sure will be separately bought games, playable by themselves because it won't make sense financially; if you haven't played destiny 1, to play destiny 2 you'll need to get the first game, then the second, just to play the sequel? Also, him saying they haven't said which planets you can go to doesn't really mean much. It just means they haven't said yet. Do you have a link to this? The only interview I'm seeing come up between game informer and this guy is one that was filmed a day after E3
