The Nine Or The Eight?

Nine Divines sounds better, but lore fanatics know that the Divines are "divine" because they are Aedra, whereas Septim was mortal. Septim's apotheosis [i]could[/i] be legitimized if you're going by the Aldmeri/Ehlnofey creation myths (where Men and Mer are born from weakened "Ehlnofey" Aedra), but it's a highly debatable topic.
