Dead Space didn't scare me.
I bought Dead Space 1 and 2 during the summer sale, and just finished the first one. I had heard alot about these games, and that they were freaky the whole way through. While I don't deny a profound sense of vulnerability, or the fact that it was a great game, I couldn't help but feel less frightened than I should be. Thoughts?

1 ReplyI've never played them, but from what I've heard the games aren't so much scary as they are startling. It's more about things that jump out and go "Boo!" rather than deep-seated, get in your head, psychological, "Oh dear god, why did I play this at night?" horror. But I didn't play them, so what do I know.
