Because of the legal and societal things surrounding it, I would have to trust someone more than I've ever trusted anyone to do it. Both are past the point where a mid-life crisis could shatter it, and financially they'll be okay. [quote]Are there any specific things that you think will make or break a marriage?[/quote] Besides outright malicious intent, I think most marriages end because one partner violated the trust of the other, or both sides violated each other's trust. If I ever get married, it would have to be someone I could talk with these potential events ahead of time. I guess ultimately I don't think I'm mature enough for marriage. There are a lot of things that come with it that most people consider benefits that I just don't care about or want. I don't feel as big of a drive for sex or relationships as I feel most people do (although that may be because this board is 90% teenagers), and I really value my independence. It would have to be a really special person, someone I don't feel like I need to hide things from, for me to be happy/consider it worth it.
