I'm curious to see what the flood has to say about feminism. Do you support, do you loathe it ,love it or not sure. Me personally I find it pointless and stupid. I believe that womens activist are far more justified in there actions but what I think would be the best solution to all those problems would be equilibrium. Equality for all. Opinions Edit: After doing some research I see that there is still sexism in america if only for things like pay raises and what not. I believe that people should focus more on the people in third world countries rather than complaining about all men colleges (that was a generalization don't get on me for that). The sex slaves in India could use help or the child soldiers of Africa. I think that these people need more help at the moment.

I support equal rights but I get tired of men being lambasted for every problem on Planet Earth.
-
I want equal rights for everyone, but I don't consider myself an active feminist. Carries too much baggage these days.
-
Women in the U.S. are almost, if not completely treated the same as men. The only reason they are complaining is because they don't rule the world. The only thing they can't do are SOME special operations jobs in the military, which is not a big deal considering 99.9% don't have the balls and heart to complete the courses.
-
Mostly Good, I do think there are inequalities, mostly subtle and social. But theres always the hardcore ones who ruin everything for everyone. Anyone who calls themselves a 'womyn' is probably demented.
-
No need for it, they already have equal rights and double standards.

Edited by Wyldfyre: 8/11/2013 11:05:56 PMReal feminism, hell to the yeah. Can't back enough. Radical feminism? They need a high five.
In the face.

With a chair.
I think a lot of people are Feminist they just don't know it. If you believe in social/biological/financial equality for any man, woman or anything in between then I'm sorry to say you are a feminist. Most just dislike to be labeled this because of the negative stereotype of "man hating" associated with the term feminist. I think you may be feminist OP. Nothing wrong with that. I'm feminist

It's redundant, at least in the western world. Women have equal, and in cases, more, rights. Feminism, now, is just a joke. It's full of misandry and bigotry. I support equality for all. I wholly respect those promoting equal rights. I have no respect for people who promote bigotry. Discrimination based on sex, ethnicity, race et cetera is pointless and stupid. What can you possibly gain from it? What good does it do to society and humanity? It only serves as a shackle for the growth of our species.

The term "feminism," has been so bastardized and warped I don't even know what or who people are talking about anymore when they refer to feminism and feminists.
-
If they want equal rights, then I equally have a right to punch them in the god damn throat without having them jump on my ass for not being a gentleman.
-
I agree with aspects of it, though if the goal is to be a defender of the oppressed I don't see why we should call it "feminism." The "feminine" is the exact kind of arbitrary, restrictive, culturally-imposed idea that so many feminists seem to be against.

Feminism was a term to give women more rights but now it's used as a term to indicate attention to women and to give them benefits. For example. My dad works in a job that involves climbing up ladders to people's roofs and fixing their ariels. He also fixes electric boxes on the street. No women work in his company. Ask a woman why they wouldn't life to work in his job, they would reply,"women shouldn't be climbing ladders or getting their hands worthy." Now. A term that was used to get women equal rights as men, that's now being used to escalate them selves higher then men, is bullshit. Complete, utter, bullshit. If I was in a relationship with a girl and she quoted the word 'feminine' in a non-historical term. I'd run away. The end :)

I support actual equality.
-
I'm fine with the ones who want to be on an equal stance with men. There is no problem with equality. However, I despise the ones who have decided that, as John Ringo says, "Man has testicles, therefore man is wrong."
-
I support it.
-
Feminism is needed to an extent in America and needed greatly in developing countries/the Middle East. I don't care about radical feminists--most of them are teenage girls raging over Tumblr.
-
True feminism; equality = good. Modern feminism; whiny bitches who think they deserve special treatment but dress it up as inequality and call everyone who disagrees they deserve special treatment a misogynist = bad.
-
It's important to be aware of multiple perspectives, and sex-positive feminists are actually making some good social changes. Every field / stance has its useless pseudo-intellectuals, though.
-
It is something that more men should pay attention to. Men seem to over sexualize women in everything, and from what I have seen in my life, treat women as objects or property when around their friends. Not all guys are like that, but that seems to be how our society is, and it needs to change.
-
Feminism is for short fat lesbians that look like men
-
-blam!-in sexist -blam!-s.
-
I don't even know what they want.
-
Doesn't bother me unless it's "Lets cut off guys genitals and make them suffer" or something.
-
IMO women already have equal rights.
-
Most of the time.
