If this is what you wound up looking like?
I'm not sure, on one hand, you could probably completely escape into your mind, so you wouldn't really have to deal with it (hey, maybe that's what we really are...), but it still creeps me out at the moment.
-
Absolutely not. How does one even masturbate in that sort of condition
-
I wouldn't become immortal if it made me look like friggin James Franco.
-
ew no That doesn't even look like it could move or do normal people things O-o
-
I have no mouth and I must scream.
-
I thought that was pizza rolls at first I was wondering why the were stacked.
-
-
Not being able to move or feel the sun on your skin or the grass under your feet. I think ill would rather grow old and live my last day desert thinking wow my life is shit but it was worth it.
-
Yes. I just need to live long enough to escape into a Robocop body.
-
If I ever turn into that, just go ahead and kill me.
-
Isn't that a bit of a lose/lose situation?
-
That's a disgusting heap of flesh and tissue, and I refuse to accept "Biological Immortality" if that's the state I would be reduced to. Where did you even find such a grotesque image?
-
I wouldn't become biologically immortal even if the result looked better than I currently do.
-
Nah man. Nah.
-
As Long as I have internet, I'm good.

What's the difference if you're living in your own mind and experiencing reality? The only time there would be a difference is if you KNEW you were living in your own mind. That your brain was your cell and you're sentenced to life in it. But if you could feel all the feelings, feel adventure, have fun, experience everything you already do in the real world without the fear of death...then what's the damn point? You do things because you know death is approaching, and you don't know what corner it will creep out from, whether it will be in broad daylight or in the pitch black night. If I knew I wouldn't die, if nobody could kill me, I'd do whatever I wanted to do without risk. And then I'd do all of it, and get bored, probably browse the internet, and do whatever "fad" is created next. Sounds quite boring if you ask me.
