Destiny does not look very spectacular
Usually I'm not one to complain about such stuff, but every time I see a thread it's one of you guys groveling over this game. It's just another run of the mill FPS games, and it has less game play options than CoD ghosts

If I'm not mistaken, which I shouldn't be, this is B.NET. Not IW.COM or ACTIVISION.COM. Stfu. ThevCoD community doesn't care about your petty jealousy. It's funny how none of you mention how Destiny is just what Halo should have been if Bungie didn't suck at making FPS games. You can't even go prone... smh... LolGraphics. Destiny looks like Play dough. So STOP. STOP Circle jerking. I want to like Destiny, and I think it'll be a Solid FPS game. It's nothing revolutionary, just looks fun. Destiny is bringing unprecedented connectivity, BF4,unprecedented levels of destruction, titanfall, a completely new breed of mech vs pilot combat that mixes in wall running and double jumping. Ghosts? A dog and fish that swim away from you?

Early signs of hype remorse are showing. Same thing happened at E3, and not only from the critics - the attendee poll didnt have Destiny achieving the highs Activision had hoped for. Over-hype killed off Reach, perhaps the same warning alarms are sounding again?

1 ReplyHave you watched a single thing regarding Destiny? I play CoD and enjoy it from time to time as well as halo and battlefield, all of which are solid FPS games. Destiny is promising to go far beyond that, in the future you should generally base posts and arguments in reality. Ghosts is ripping off battlefield with its animated knifing and semi destructible environment, it's not doing anything innovative or risky, it will be another fun fast paced COD that feels more like an arcade than anything else, halo 5 will not feel like a true halo game just like 4 because 343 is making it, it will still be good but not the same feel or mood. Destiny is going to be a massively different experience, wether people enjoy it or not it will be no where near what FPS games are today. I have high hopes and think Bungie will pull it off nicely.... Again make an attempt to live in reality homes.

Why would you want to go prone in such a fast-paced game? It'd be like falling to the ground and inching about on Quake, it'd serve no purpose besides maybe making you harder to hit, but you're still -blam!-ing obvious to the enemy, and slower moving.

12 RepliesCoD has more gameplay options than destiny? In CoD if you are trying to kill something you have exactly three outcomes: 1. You miss,( sad but it happens) and end up dying 2. The bullets go through the something, and get a knife in the foot= Death 3. Or blood squirts three feet away from whatever you were trying to hit and you get a kill In Destiny you can: 1. Blow off its head with a hand cannon 2. Forcefully provide an exit for its soul 3. Get a splatter spree with a VEHICLE if COD fanboys know what those are 4. Wave goodbye as CoD fanboys get mowed down 5. What was it....... Oh yeah use -blam!-ing SPACE MAGIC Laughing at halos graphics? At least when you hit an enemy you actually HIT them and we didn't use freaking sticks either, we had tanks! Also at least Bungie's games grew and developed as new installments were created. Cod is the same game with an update every year changing up the weapons skins. Oh look a new perk, Congratulations you've had a break through. While Bungie created a whole universe with halo. What exactly does Cod have, Nuketown? And if you think Bungie sucks then why are you on a bungie forum for a game created by BUNGIE

Im afraid that Bungie will use 343's ideas about Halo, that 343 stole from Bungie (in the first place) and stole from Infinity Ward. I think Destiny will be a glorified Halo of Duty: Call to Battle
