Lesbian couple in hot water...due to statutory laws.
Has anyone been following this case at all? I've been catching up.
What are your thoughts?
Is this a clear cut case of statutory -blam!-?
Are they being targeted due to orientation?
If this was a man of the same age as the older girl and his partner was the same age as the victim would the outcome, charges, and media attention be different?

If this was a lad, he'd already be labelled a sex offender and in prison. If anything, not treating the offender like any guy would be treated is discrimination against men.
