From CBS:
There was no debate at the Saturday meeting that a military response is necessary. Obama ordered up legal justifications for a military strike, should he order one, outside of the United Nations Security Council. That process is well underway, and particular emphasis is being placed on alleged violations of the Geneva Convention and the Chemical Weapons Convention.
Thoughts?

The UN Security Council will not authorize anything, Russia will veto it, and possibly China. So then it becomes either a NATO action or a unilateral action by the US. I also find it ironic that they are bringing up war crimes and the Geneva Conventions, when the USA tortured people openly, also a clear war crime.

I love how typing UNSC into google brings up Halo before the real organization haha Well done gamers.
-
In a sane world the legal justification should come before the decision. You shouldn't need to request a legal pretext to instigate action.
-
We really don't need this right now.
-
America shouldn't get involved. This is the reason United Nations was involved. We as a country waste to much money helping others, when it isn't our job.
-
United Nations Security Council UNSC.
-
thoughts? bomb all those -blam!-ers back to the stone age.
-
I'm fine with it if it's a joint action decision similar to Libya (Missiles fired from off the coast at strategic targets) with little to no troop deployment.
-
Here we go...

I knew it was a good idea to invest in that nuclear fallout bunker, they thought I was crazy! But i'll be the one with the last laugh!
-
What kind of Chemical Weapons were supposedly used during the attack?
-
Obama is Putin the world at risk.
-
Well then.
-
Sad that more people are going to die.
-
Fuck.
