To the point that while being in the house you thought "if I stay here any longer I swear I'm going to try and detox this house"?
I'm watching my sister's place for awhile, and while still being young and living with my parents who think our house is dirty, they haven't really seen anything yet. I suppose the 200$ I'm getting paid to watch it is easily made up for when I'm really going to be earning it for the next 4 days. The three dogs and cat that they have also affects it too.
Anyone else?

One of my friends had me over once, and the first thing I noticed was his puppy rolling around in a litter box, only to walk two feet and roll on the carpet. Five minutes later, he made a sandwich, and asked if I wanted one. I declined, but I noticed the lunch meat was discolored. I asked him about it, he said "Oh, that's probably because it's been sitting there for a couple years." And then continued to eat it. The counter had bread, crackers, and what I hope was water scattered on it. The carpet had dirt, mud, and cat litter everywhere. And the tv remote had some weird brown grime on it. That was the first thing to come to mind...

I have neatness OCD. Can't stand dirt or clutter.

Shit, I ran out of paper towels.

Edited by Jornn_: 8/29/2013 10:43:43 PMYup. Every time I go to my cousins house I get an irresistible urge to clean their entire house. Especially my cousin Kaitlyn's room... It's disgusting in there. She had a bag of bad cucumbers just laying on her bed, paint and gum stained on the carpet, and clothes all over the place. It's hard to look at. Edit: I forgot to mention the 6 dogs, 5 chickens, 4 horses, 2 cats, 2 turtles, 3 fish tanks with about 10 fish total and the goat they own.

I've seen things you people wouldn't even believe.

No. I refuse to stay in filth.

I live in a house that has clutter. Dirt and clutter are two different things. I don't mind clutter, meaning random stuff in corners of the house, or on tables. But a dirty house (mice, garbage, general filth) I can't stand.

I hate when people don't house train dogs. Nothing's worse than seeing a dog curl one out right there on the carpet while you're eating.

Yes and to think that people can live in those conditions and not think what the -blam!-. It just baffles me.

Have you ever seen a toilet overflowing with shit? I have.
