Frames per Second

I was wondering if some tech-savvy user could help me out. I have a couple of questions about the FPS (or Frames per Second) on Consoles, specifically the 360 and One. So, Call of Duty runs a solid 60 FPS, right? That's why it's so smooth. But if I were to go play, say, Crysis 2 on my 360, it would feel weird and unresponsive, correct? If so, is 60 FPS the highest FPS we've achieved? Is there a 90 FPS? Thanks :)

http://boallen.com/fps-compare.html Compares frames. Don't bother past 60 really, the reason people play high frames is so that drops aren't as noticable. 60fps to 40fps is better then 30fps to 20fps. So someone playing at (insert over 60fps) are basically set with a smooth looking game, drops won't be bad. Some monitors won't display over 60fps. Its all preference, some companies sacrifice graphics for consistent smooth frames.
