Edited by A Dumb Door: 9/15/2013 8:12:22 PMDespite the fact that this specific example is a rather (for lack of a better phrase) silly and nonsensical compilation of stupidity on entropy, it still stands that Vine, at least in my opinion, is the perfect representation of the internet over time. Starting as an experiment, it suddenly explodes into popularity. First as just a way to share things, then creativity takes hold, and now people are getting increasingly more and more creative with it and push the medium. Even though Vine is nowhere near as sophisticated or high quality as a Hollywood Blockbuster, it's slowly getting better in quality and some videos hold up pretty well as small means of artistic expression. The Twitter of videos, Vine is creating a rather valid identity for itself. I'm not some misty-eyed Vine supporter, but I do see a lot of potential for interesting expression. While this video is nowhere near an artistic masterpiece, it remains yet another way of pushing the medium. Thus, I give it a thumbs up in the same way that I recommend that The Room be watched. It's terrible, but worth existing for its purposes.
