So you probably didn't know this, but there is currently a show touring the UK called The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Radio Show Live in which they bring as much of the cast of the original Hitchhiker's radio series back for a live radio show reading. I cannot express in words how good it is.
Anyway, I went to one of the shows last night with my dad and sister and during the break a man caught my eye as he was passing me. I thought he was familiar but couldn't place the face. At first I thought it was someone I'd seen on one of the various making-of documentaries they put on classic Doctor Who DVDs; as Douglas Adams had written a few Doctor Who's himself (and apparently Hitchhiker's was originally going to be a Doctor Who script) so this assumption seemed reasonable enough. Then he passed me again, and his face was under direct light for maybe a second, and I thought again 'yes; I definitely know this person'.
It wasn't until I'd passed him on my way back into the auditorium (his face was in the dark this time) and sat down that I realised that he looked EXACTLY like Douglas Adams.
Now, I'm not one for believing in ghosts but I know what I saw and what I saw was the face of a man who died in 2001. It was like he'd been taken out of the 70s and placed in the lobby.

He's returned to wreak vengeance on Eoien Colfer and his fans.

Maybe someone intentionally dressed up with makeup and such to look like him to honor his passing?
