Last week I was diagnosed with tinnitus, and it's pretty sucky - I have a clean, high-pitched T.V. static sound in my ears at all times. I've questioned whether my life is worth living every day since developing the ringing in my ears. I'm going to see an ENT consultant on October 8th, but 2 1/2 weeks is a long time to wait in this kind of agony. Surely, given the numbers, it's likely that a few of my B.net brethren are afflicted. Any tinnitus sufferers care to offer a few words of advice or consolation?
