I was handed that piece of paper by a guy while I was at a red light earlier today. Most panhandlers around here stand with a sign that has their story on it. I didn't have any cash to give this guy, but I think I would have given him some if I had any. I feel that doing something at least a little bit innovative should be rewarded, at least a little bit.

He needs money but he has enough to print out those cards? I don't give to panhandlers because I don't know if they are going to actually use the money to better themselves or if they are just going to feed a habit. I know that there's a lot of stigma about going to a shelter but that's the only way I know that they are going to try and fix themselves.

No. I dont need a pity story or someone begging for money. I might have offered him a job if he listed some skills.
-
I'd have purchased food for him. No way does he get cash.
-
How the hell did he make that card? I don't even have the resources to make that..
-
Like a good troll pointed out, the printed flyer is a bit of a red flag. I would give him some canned food but no cash.
-
I couldn't NOT give him any, I'm that kind of person
-
If he has money for color copies, he has money for his family.
-
Colored ink is expensive.
-
Has money to make colored flyers, yet can't pay rent? Wut.

Edited by ABotelho: 9/20/2013 4:01:41 AMWhere did he manage to print those things? Every public printer I know of costs money and is only monochrome.

A $5 or a $10

I may give food to people, but I refuse to just hand them money.

Hey Mike are you black?
