California Raises Minimum Wage

(I'm not sure if this is a completely accurate or un-biased source, just putting that out there)
I'm not trying to start a political flamewar, but it's big news here in CA. I personally think it's a turn for the better.
Thoughts?

In my opinion $10 is acceptable to me at this point. I'm not advocating for a federal minimum wage considering businesses in different states have different standards of living/ different taxes, etc. I'll also admit I don't know anything about those specific things in relation to California so it might not be enough.
