So, with all those guns Americans have....
Why has no one had the guts to shoot a few at westboro activists?

Because it would only give them attention. The Westboro goons are real-life iterations of internet trolls.

Because despite what the media would have you think, most of us aren't sociopaths.

Unfortunately, they're a non-violent protest group. "They're assholes" isn't considered a valid reason to shoot them.

That would be pretty low. Trying to hurt or kill people who are strictly non-violent themselves.
