I've never understood gamers' fascination with everything being good or bad, black or white, this or that, Sony or Xbox, Halo or Call of Duty, or so on. What is it about gamers that makes everything either fantastic or garbage? Is everything binary? Where is the scale, the shades gray? Isn't there room for multiple good games or systems? Isn't lots of choice a good thing?

Edited by Arbiter 739: 10/2/2013 12:35:46 PMIt has to do with the same reason people get up and angry over U.S. Democrat/Republican politics in a simple discussion. They want to be right. With younger people it's much worse because there are fewer people who might want to calm the situation down and much more who want to say that they agree or disagree. Xbox vs. PS arguments generally start with an insult.
