The ability to get notifacations off of threads not created by you.

So today I had an idea, because of a conversation in a thread, that dealt with being able to watch a thread without getting notifications. Then I thought, what if we were allowed to check a box in a thread, that whenever a member replied to the OP, it would be sent to you as well, even if its not your thread or OP. This could be to keep up with threads easier of course and also help people out quicker in say a question thread. Take Noble Iron sky's thread Beta Support Questions for example. He is using that so he can keep track of any issues or questions that may arise and then he is able to answer them. But what if I would want to be able to answer questions there also as quickly as possible and help him out? I'd have to wait until every time I signed on and went to that thread to see if any new questions are there. But again what if there was a box we could check off on threads that would allow us to receive notification for other peoples threads? I know personally I would greatly utilize this feature to help others. Now of course, so people inbox's wouldn't explode, you could uncheck that box or this feature could even be kept just to Support threads or even Question threads. Now what do you guys think? especially those who try and enjoy helping new and even old members when they have questions?
