Need advice regarding a computer build!

Hello peoplez of the interwebs. So I am going to purchase a new PC from a retailer that lets you choose each part of your build, and they will put it all together for you. Problem is, i dont know crap about what parts are good for what etc.. Therefore i am asking for your guidance. So, PC-building members of the 7th column, with a maximum budget of $2000, and allowing this PC to run 3D softwares like Maya/Mudbox (and render stuff), and play games like BF4 as smooth as possible, what parts would you throw into this machine? Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to take the time to help me out/give me advice!
GPU: Superclocked GTX 770 Buy 2 of them. Beats $1000 Titan. A lot of people might tell you to go with i7, but the Next-Gen consoles are using 8 core AMDS. Definitely the way to go for a new gaming rig. Nothing will stand in your way.

I suggest building your own. I too had no clue how to build a PC heck I didn't even know what RAM was but I tought myself through watching youtube videos and googling questions I had and now I can build a PC off the top of my head its a really rewarding feeling when you start it up for the first time and the BIOS shows up. I had more fun building it than I do using it and people think you are smart when you say you built a computer when in reality its not really complicated at all.

    • Also, you really should just build it yourself. You'll save some money and building a computer is a very fun and enjoyable experience.

      • $2000 is a fantastic budget. I just build a desktop a couple months ago. I'll post some hardware in a sec.

          • I can help you out with that. Just need to know: - Do you need to buy an OS + Peripherals. If so, which OS and peripherals do you need? - Do you want to be able to run games at Ultra Settings? High Setting? - How much storage space do you need? Does the speed of your storage matter much?

            • That's one hell of a budget. There are definitely people here who can help with building PC's (like TopWargamer), but I used Reddit for advice when I built mine. If you tell Build A PC For Me what your budget and needs are, they'll put together a parts list for you. Build A PC will give you advice on choosing parts and building. I know you're planning on buying a pre-built PC, but both communities (and people here) will tell you to build your own. As someone who had no prior experience before building the PC he's on now, I would agree. If you do go that route, Build A PC Sales is a collection of the best current deals on parts. I was on a very tight budget, so that place was invaluable.

But Battlefield 4? You can do better than that... at least go with something more worth your time like one of the Metro games or PlanetSide 2.
