You can mitigate this with a topical spray, which after the surface has been broken, will num it while the artist goes over it again. If you have any other questions, ill be glad to answer.

Depends where you get it. Your upper arm does not hurt at all. I have one on my upper arm, my inner bicep, wrist, forearm, on top of my left foot, and a large torso piece. None of them hurt, excluding the torso piece. When I was getting inked on the end of my ribs, I didn't know rather to laugh or yell. It was liked being tickled by Satan.
