BF4 Beta
So anyone playing it? I got it for Xbox 360 first, the graphics are just awful, The textures are all muddy, there's a host of bugs the conquest map looks deserted. So then I updated my AMD driver downloaded the beta to my PC, loaded up a 64 man server and put it on ultra, 'twas beautiful. TIL Xbox 360 is shit.
Having never really played competitive MP on an FPS besides CS: GO on PC means there's a bit of a learning curve for me. I've unlocked a fair bit of stuff on the Xbox version; both of the carbines, both of the PDW's, the M9, Stinger, defibrillator and some other stuff. I'm really liking the AK-5C. So what are your guys' thoughts on the beta?

1 ReplyIt's pretty fun. -Texture glitches are everywhere, but hey, there's a reason this is a beta. -I don't like how there's no option to put vehicle acceleration/reverse on the trigger/bumper like there was in Bad Company 1&2. -Helicopters are a bit hard to control, but that may be an intended learning curve. I'm now at the point where I can fly from Point A to Point B without crashing into every building along the way (usually). -Destruction seems far more limited than it was in the Bad Company series. -There will be scopes in the full game, right? I hate iron sights and red dots. And out of curiosity, is there bullet drop? I haven't noticed any.
