Why does it matter if Batman or Superman would win in a fight? It's obvious who the winner is anyway, a guy who can fight, has money and is smart or the guy who bench presses planets and can fly faster than the speed of light. Obviously Superman.
But that shouldn't be the argument, if there has to be one. What people should be arguing is who are the better characters and who has the better media? Because in both cases it's Batman.

Batman would beat superman with prep time.

I'm more interested in Superman as a character, because I'm always into reading about 'immortal' or 'invincible' characters. People say they're bland because they can't lose, but when done correctly they can be so deep with issues like losing their humanity and such. Not that I've read anything of Superman that is like that. Regime Supes was a great character, though.

The better media i'll agree with. Better character? Superman. It's difficult to pull off, but when he's done correctly, it's brilliant. Just look at All-Star Superman.

Edited by Spvrinna: 10/11/2013 10:45:35 PMI agree. Batman's character is more interesting, IMO (actually, the characters he creates, are more interesting, evident of the Joker, Nightwing, Jason Todd, etc.) If only every Batman fan could be as reasonable as you when it comes to the fights. There's no question in my mind that Superman would win. But in terms of enjoyment, everything is subjective.

Well I'll be back to type up a response.
