Yeah we all knew that this was coming. If Destiny is what we think it is then the City is going to be a great place for friend to meet and to show off your armor. It's also going to be a place where creepers roam. We have all be in a match where a girl with a mic come into the game and there are one or two guys that start creeping on her. NO ONE wants to see this in Destiny. So you creepers out there here is a short list of dos and donts.
Dont
Creep on female players
Send female players your personal info if they don't ask for it
follow female players around if they don't know who you are
spam message female players
make stupid sex jokes
hit on them to the point that it's creepy
Do
Be respectful of them
treat them like you would treat any other player
be friendly to them

I don't see anything there about dick pics. LOOPHOLE ABUSE!

This forum is awful.

DO Get yourself a girlfriend.
-
I totally agree with this a 100%

Why shouldnt this be done to male as awell as female players? Doesnt everybody deserve to be treated with respect? But this is a serious problem though in the gaming community. I have seen first hand the unwanted and negative attention a female gamer can attract if making her presence known and it's frankly appauling. So yes, I agree but then again I would urge people to treat anyone with respect.

I think this topic should be all gamers in general. If you are with your friends and wish to bad mouth them and get bad mouthed in return that is your business. However if you are in a public forum or match and wish to express your immature vulgarity mute yourself so those who would otherwise be offended can be blissfully oblivious. In other words: Don't be a jerk.

i think that you just need to respect the other gamers and remember that theres an actual person you can file complaints and call microsoft or playstation and get you banned

I like chocolate

Creepers should stay in Minecraft.

Edited by Kintsurugi: 10/23/2013 11:03:04 PMHere, I simplified your entire post into a single rule: 1. Be a decent human being.
-
I've never done any of the "don'ts" seeing how I'm a mature gamer. I doubt I would do it anyway, seeing how there might be male gamers disguised as female characters...
-
Sorry but if you're gaming and haven't made a sexually offensive joke you're not having fun. I joke with the process that I'll be returned the favor.
-
Ok, I'm not gonna troll you this time. Why would I treat any female differently than males I encounter? I already treat every person differently, and I don't need to give females a total different treatment than males. Please explain.
-
People will do whatever makes them laugh it's a part of human nature
-
Even tho most of the female characters will be male players, even so good advise.

I treat everyone the same. If I'm being too offensive, they can mute me. I'm never in game chat though either so someone would have to join my party to hear jt. If someone is being creepy or "mean" lol just mute Em and block them and walla you don't have to deal with it. The muting system is quite easy to use for those who are easily offended. Party chat can be closed. This isn't really even necessary, they can make it so that person can't send them messages or even see they are online. Should just post a guide on how to mute and block communications for people that bug you. You're white knighting pretty hard by saying we need to treat ladies like ladies when everyone on the Internet is anonymous unless you know them in person.

This can all be summed up as, "Do onto others." Creepers are all over, male and female a like. Schoolboy heroics aside, I can see where you are coming from. And I do agree, however... This is a situation for all sides. Period. When I game, I drink, I cuss, I tell dirty jokes, but if anyone says "Can you tone it down?", politely, I'll try to respect that. Again, I totally understand where you are coming from. I just think that it's all sexes, mate. If you REALLY want to impact the community, you can...I dunno, post a video like what I'm posting. I think this video should watched before someone engages in any online gaming, period. So cheers, to the gentlemen of fortune and ladies of leisure....

Why is this here? Don't y'all get all that in all of the other games and its not a -blam!-ing Virtual MMORPG, and theres party chat so no one can find out that your female

REAL CODE OF ETHICS FOR GAMERS (in general) 1. Be polite. 2. No racism 3. No pedophilia 4. Only hack if you have the resources 5. Gamers can play whatever games on whatever system they chose. 6. Respect and tolerate your fellow gamer 7. If you are a young adult (preferably with a high pitched voice) please get your mic away from your mouth 8. Try not to show jealousy in-game 9. Troll only to a joking degree; but never cross any boundaries listed above. 10. Have fun :)

You need a code of Ethics for all players here i link this.

I really just treat everyone I meet online and real life the same.
-
You have a point. Drives me crazy when people creep on girls. Makes it hard to take a game seriously.
-
I have only one rule when it come to females (online or otherwise): Just ignore them as hard as you can. The less interest you show in them the more they show in you; Though, frankly, I'm not necessarily sure that's a good thing...
-
Yeah that would nice, but if it won't happen in real life it will never happen online
