Joining an online community isn't the same as interviewing for a job in the same position, you start from the most basic position and work into a better one by proving yourself useful and gaining the trust and respect of your fellow community members.

And so why would I join you and leave my own group? I need a good reason to join. So far I haven't heard any.

I'm not in thier community and wasn't trying to convince you to join. Just letting you know you can't just ask people who do not know you to make you a leader and then you'll join. If you have a good thing going for you where you are then you should stay there.

They weren't trying to specifically recruit you, it's not like they sent you a private message about it. You came on to thier post asking for reasons to join so they gave you some.
