On top of already paying $60 for the game, there is a $15/month subscription. People keep saying that it's no biggy in the long run, but shit stacks up after awhile. That's $240 ($225 for the [i]amazing[/i] discount >__>) for the first year that I could be spending elsewhere. The other excuse is that they need the cash for updates, but even GW2 keeps pushing out living story updates every 2 weeks, and it's a one time purchase. So, I'd say go for it if it is something you are absolutely sure about getting. If you're someone who is on the fence, then I'd just call it there and jump ship.
