Best Salamence build?

I was thinking of maybe doing a mix of both Sp Atk and Atk. Was thinking maybe Mild or Jolly Nature.

I honestly want someone to really sit down and teach me how to build a competitive battling team. I kind of know what EV's are, but I have no idea about nature and all that
