I haven't seen Pokemon in ages, but if I'm not mistaken aren't there tons of Pikachus out in the world? If they spent half the amount of time and effort they could easily capture their own Pikachu. And Pikachu isn't even that powerful enough to warrant such effort, so why do they want Pikachu and why Ash's in particular? Did I miss something?

In the original TV show, Ash's Pikachu was more powerful than other Pikachu.

They're hungry.

I don't know shouldn't they give meowth to Giovanni because a talking meowth is more worth it than a useless pikachu

It stole James' man card.

Edited by PandaJerk007: 10/27/2013 1:39:57 AMThey crave that Pikachu D Once you get a taste of that short little lightning rod you will constantly want it inside of you. Ash's Pikachu does it best, and Team Rocket won't settle for anything less

Its a pikachu that fought and got a simultaneous knock out with a legendary type, good luck finding another pikachu like that.
