Making this male only instead of don't be an ass to anyone and saying be nice to women makes this a white knight crusade to protect the weak womenfolk who are certainly capable of ya know muting problems. By saying male gamers need to be nicer to female gamers you white knighted. Treat everyone the same and always assume they have a penis until you see otherwise. No one gets special treatment, the mute button works the same for women as it does for men.
