Hello all,
What's wrong with the battery for the Rover Rancher 27189 ride on mower i'm restoring?
The problem is when i got the mower i found that the 12 volt lead acid battery was flat and i thought all it needed was a overnight trickle charge but when i connected my microprocessor controlled charger and left it over night neither the 50% nor the 75% lights were lit up (yes i checked the charger and it's working and the battery cells had sufficient water). So what is wrong with my battery and will i need to purchase a new battery?
p.s the battery is a Exide Endurance.

Also, when you say trickle charge, does it say (or can you find out) what rate it actually charges at? If it's a really low charge rate, or if it's a really large battery (~50Ah), then chances are you just need to charge it even longer. Can you perhaps provide a picture of it? (Preferably showing the labels, and/or next to something for a size reference?)
