You know whats not gonna make me take this code of ethics seriously?
because it's aimed at, and lectures me just for being male.
I'm tired of being lectured at for things I didn't do by people I don't know.

(see picture). Do you see what I did there? I took an incredibly small sample size and applied it to the ENTIRE gender. Do you see how flawed that is? for every example you find of a man being a douchebag, I can find an example of a woman doing something equally bad. for every example you find of a man being a dumbass, I can find an example of a woman being equally stupid. But you're right, most guys are good people, but no one cares about the good guys of the world when one or two assholes makes us all look like pricks.

I've read your other replies and you like to say "but i never said you should follow these bullet points" or, "Im not ramming them down your throat". No, you're not, but you ARE encouraging it. To which I ask, who are you to tell me what to do based solely on the fact that I wasn't born a woman. This is why I'm not gonna take your code of Ethics seriously.

You're implying it. It's clear as day. I'm encouraging all males to not be assholes because it's not just one or two guys. There is a problem here and you're not wanting to admit it. If it was just one of two guys then sure, I wouldn't be bringing this up, but when there are groups being made to bring awareness to harassment of female gamers then we have an issue on our hands.

This is how you want us male gamers to act right? That's what you're saying. when you say "for all you creepers out there here's a list of do's and dont's", you're saying, here's a list of things that you want me to look at and that you encourage me to follow them. now just in-case you decide to jump on the fact that the sentence says "for all you creepers" and you try to say this code isn't aimed at men in general, your THREAD TITLE clearly states that this code is intended for MALE gamers. That's how you're telling me to live my life. You discriminate based on sex, to BOTH genders. You make big sweeping judgements based on small sample sizes. You keep hiding behind circular logic and straw-man arguments. This is why I'm not going to take your code of ethics seriously.

Then don't follow them. You don't have to you know. You are the only one here that is feeling forced of anything. Most people understand that this is just a simple list of dos and donts, but you are acting like I'm forcing you to follow these rules. like im shoving these rules onto you. You're the one that choose to read this thread and you're the one who choose to comment on this thread. If you are feeling forced of anything then that's just a personal problem. Now if you are a creeper then following these rule would be helpful.

I'm just responding and you're trying to have the last word. Usually when someone talks about "losing credibility" they usually have no argument and this is what I am currently experiencing with you. I'm only arguing whatever you are saying, granted what you are saying isn't that smart to begin with, but It is what it is. So I will ask you to say something worth responding to.
