I'm going to post this here, I've had this problem for a few days and I don't know where else to turn now.
So basically when I upgraded my OSX the other day it completely destroyed my Bootcamp partition and I could no longer boot into it. I managed to use disk drill to create a .dmg version of my windows partition but I'm struggling to think of a way to even get data back off of it. The .dmg is unmountable so I can't restore it.
I'm wondering if anybody knows of a way to get data back off of it? I heard that you can use REFIT to copy over the .dmg back onto a newly installed version of windows 7 - but I am unsure of how to do this either.
Anyone got any ideas?

I wish I could help. I have no idea as I own no apple products. Only idea I have is to try and clone the damaged partition to an external drive then put a new partition on your machine. Then see if you can run a data recovery program on the external to see if you can get anythin off of it.
