1. You're in college yet you don't know the difference between than and then, latter and ladder, curtain and certain?
No I do I just don't give a damn, this is a Bungie forum so why should I care about my spelling and grammer.
2.You completely dodge every point I make and don't even comment on them, rule number one of a debate, follow the debate.
You haven't made a point yet. It's just been mindless rambling.
3. Quoting a picture of text detailing sexual harassment over video games doesn't contest with my point. I never said it isn't a problem, I made fun of the way you went about it. After which I made fun of the fact you can't follow your own train of thought. Quoting a picture of text detailing the problem in this thread won't make me wrong nor will it change your original train of thought and thread format, the topic of this debate.
No but it helps prove mines. That there problem is real and should be treated seriously.
5. You shouldn't call someone with superior linguistic and debating skills little boy, what would that make you?
HA. I'm just not taking this seriously like you are.
superior linguistic and debating skills
. Please stop kidding yourself here.
6.Treating women differently than men is the very root and pure definition of sexism, the main cause of sexual harassment. By telling people to treat women differently, you are encouraging and promoting sexism.
Yes you're right I should treat my girlfriend the same way that I threat my brother. I should talk to the the same way as well. Do you see the problem with your logic now. You're not even attempting to find the middle ground which is to just be respectful of women on video games. Instead you are saying that we should treat everyone the same. So if I call my guy friend an asshole or a bitch I should do the same with my girl friend because it' only right. And lets take it further. If I get into a fight with my brother and we start trading blows It would be ok if I do the same with my sister if a smiler situation accuses. Since you clearly don't know the definition of sexism let me show it to you.
Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based on a person's sex.[1] Sexist attitudes may stem from traditional stereotypes of gender roles,[2][full citation needed] and may include the belief that a person of one sex is intrinsically superior to a person of the other.[3] A job applicant may face discriminatory hiring practices, or (if hired) receive unequal compensation or treatment compared to that of their opposite-sex peers.[4] Extreme sexism may foster sexual harassment, -blam!- and other forms of sexual violence.[5]
Clearly I'm not being prejudice or discriminating chicks. I'm just saying that we should be respectful of them. You need to stop with your white knighting man, because most girl gamers understand that they are entering into a males world when playing online video games and they don't want to be treated like one of the guys, they just want to be treated with respect.
A. I never once said, in any post, sexual harassment wasn't a big problem. I did however say that people do know it's wrong and that educating them on the fact it's wrong won't do anything. You agreed everyone already knows and that this is not a problem of lack of knowledge.
And I never said that I was aiming for the people who know what they are doing was wrong. There are people who creep without being aware of it. This is understandable and this can be fixed.
B. As previously stated it was quite evident what your train of thought was, it wasn't hard to figure out what you were thinking. I'll quote it for you. "I told you how I got my reason for assuming you thought it was through lack of knowledge, considering a "Dos and Donts" list is to educate. That's what they're for. Their purpose is to be read and understood as guidelines. Things to do, and not to do. Why educate someone through guidelines if the root of the problem is not their knowledge itself? Considering they already have the knowledge, since you say knowledge is not the reason, they'd just be reading off things they already know, now wouldn't they? Which would make this thread, a "Dos and Don't" list, useless. You did not articulate your point correctly, educating, AKA adding to their knowledge, was not the right way to go about the problem you wish to tackle." If your point was not to add to their knowledge, why would you use a tool (Dos and Don'ts list) that has one purpose, adding knowledge? It's equivalent to putting a square block through a circular hole, no? I'll repeat this, you did not articulate your point in a manner advantageous to your goal. You couldn't. a college student, put your thoughts in words. You couldn't even use proper English spelling and grammar in the words you so proudly produced. I found this and your other threads hilariously stupid.
So you're saying that we shouldn't educate someone who doesn't know they are doing something wrong through guidelines...................ok then how do we educate them???
C. You clearly "signaled out" (LMFAO you don't need the out considering you already signaled) that you thought the problem was knowledge. You don't need to say something to imply something. For instance, structuring of a thread. You structured this thread to add to a person's knowledge, whether that was your goal or not. By using a "Dos and Don'ts" list, who's sole purpose is to add knowledge , to do something other than add knowledge
. I don't see where I said the problem was knowledge. The problem is accountability. You're doing that Assuming thing again and it tends to make you look like an ass.
OK ready, this is how we debate. You take my points and counter them with your points. It's kind of like Battleship, only you know where their ships are. Now use your missiles. Hopefully I repeated myself enough times for it to be burned into that scholarly college brain of yours. But I have to say, you sir, have wasted your money on college LMFAO. Even if this is the result of high school I'd still have to say it's taxpayer money down the drain. Maybe your lack of articulation stems from your inability to produce the English language correctly? That or English is your second language, which I suppose is some what the same thing
I see your debate...........I see you trying to lean on spelling mistakes to try to prove your point. I see that you're assuming again. Stop assuming. I see that you never had a clear understanding of what I was saying to being with but yet and still built up you're own theory and hypnotist off of what you thought was correct. I'm not going to argue this with you I'm just going to look at your argument and ask how far will you go to try to prove this point that you are trying to make.

Talk to your brother the same as your girlfriend? Why would you sexually harass your girlfriend? Why would you choose something completely irrelevant to the topic for your basis? If you don't care about spelling why would you spell everything else correctly? Because you don't know the English language well enough to articulate your point. So now you say you want to educate and add knowledge, while a few posts ago you didn't? You clearly said you didn't. Multiple times. I don't have a point? I repeated my point 4 times in the above post, probably over 10 times total. You change your view every post. In all honesty your ability to read and write what you think are below a third grade level. I sincerely wish I wasn't kidding. How can you miss my point? Well it's clear you actually just can't read the big words and follow the multi-step sentences I'm forming. You're in college? You literally cannot comprehend my post. In any case, thanks for the 20+ likes I received trying to tell you your own thought process, which you still cannot comprehend.

  •
Talk to your brother the same as your girlfriend? Why would you sexually harass your girlfriend?
That's the question I am asking you because you want to treat everyone the same. It's not irrelevant because it's the point that YOU are trying so hard to make. Why would you make a big deal about a misspelled word when I can go through each off you post and find misspelled words. It's not a big deal. I know the English but it's not required to post perfect English on this site so why would I. Normally when someone starts bashing someone else spelling then they are getting desperate, because it's not a good argument to begin with. No one is forcing me to spell correctly, but back to the topic at hand. The View of the post has stayed the same. Your point was weak to begin with. "treat everyone the same" how white knight can you be. So to end, not only do you have no argument, you have resulted to petty name calling. You are as mature as 5th grader with is said because I only assume that you are older then that. PS on my clan page i have this net feature to see who likes what in one of my threads. Yeah out of your 20 plus likes that you are so proud of, we given out by a total of 5 people......................I think we are done here.

Wouldn't treating women differently than men would be white knighting, not the other way around? Um, duh? My stance is against treating them more politely, how would I be white knighting and you not? I won't allow myself to believe you're that stupid. Not to mention my point was not equality it was how stupid the lay out of your thread was and how a college student can't articulate a simple point. This still has gone over your head, 20 posts later. How -blam!-ing oblivious can you be? I literally stated it 5 times in a single post. Here I'll -blam!-ing outline it for you 10 more times. If your point was not to add to their knowledge, why would you use a tool (Dos and Don'ts list) that has one purpose, adding knowledge? It's equivalent to putting a square block through a circular hole, no? I'll repeat this, you did not articulate your point in a manner advantageous to your goal. You couldn't. a college student, put your thoughts in words. You couldn't even use proper English spelling and grammar in the words you so proudly produced. I found this and your other threads hilariously stupid. Also your brother and girlfriend have other roles than just male and female you -blam!-ing idiot. You have to apply those roles too if you're going to use them as examples you -blam!-ing moron. Obviously I don't tell my brother he's beautiful and I want to rail him, I tell my girlfriend that. But I suppose since you say there's no difference you in fact tell your brother he's beautiful and rail him. It's like you're completely oblivious to the things you imply when you speak. Honestly you're the typical dumb blonde in every sitcom. "I think you should treat girls with more respect and be more polite to them than you are to men, but you're white knighting." kjnodaieedOVBSLVOLBVHOLSVOLhyb Read that. You just did that. You actually just did that. My only reaction is dnfpwUBRPVAIUERBUERBA;NPRF. • Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based on a person's sex.[1] Sexist attitudes may stem from traditional stereotypes of gender roles,[2][3] and may include the belief that a person of one sex is intrinsically superior to a person of the other.[4] A job applicant may face discriminatory hiring practices, or (if hired) receive unequal compensation or treatment compared to that of their opposite-sex peers.[5] Extreme sexism may foster sexual harassment, -blam!- and other forms of sexual violence.[6] Why am I showing you this, because this is the definition of sexism. This is what you are calling white knighting.
My stance is against treating them more politely, how would I be white knighting and you not? I won't allow myself to believe you're that stupid. We are done here.
