No, just emphasized a word that is within the word. You however, didn't spell out pointless. You said point. Due to your lack using the correct work I don't understand what you were trying to say. So what you should probably do is just stop posting things in general. The community would benefit, which is a good thing.

We are the human race, lots of people do things just because other people say you cant or you shouldn't. The people you are trying to reach to to stop aren't going to stop on your say so. Hell, they might do it more BECAUSE you say to stop. It's just like those pointless posts telling trolls to stop trolling, they're not going to do it.

Exactly, if they aren't conscious of it then they won't stop because they don't know they are doing it in the first place.

Whoa now why would you think that. If they don't know they are doing it then that's something you can fix. If they know what they are doing then that's when there is no stopping it.
