Everything Wrong with Call of Duty Ghosts.
May rustle a lot of jimmies with this one. I know this video would stir controversy, but can I haz help with likes?
Technically this is not a "review". But if thats what you see it as, then thats fine.

1 ReplyThe only the wrong with CoD is they didn't let it die when it should have. It could have been remembered as a great game that provided endless hours of fun. Instead it's turned in to one that's been dragged on with stale gameplay mechanics and a campaign that's U.S.A. vs. Terrorist Country X and Terrorist Country Y in the next game. It's a good formula for the first 2 games but after that it's just too much of the same thing. If this was said in the video sorry I didn't even watch it.

2 Replies...if you are going to do a video like this, don't you at least think you should play the next gen version and not the current gen version? Not saying it will be completely different, but you are showing an incredible amount of ignorance by reviewing a "next gen" title given the fact that you are playing the "current gen" version.

And obviously next gen consoles have not been released yet so you should really reserve your judgement on it looking like black ops 2 because there is a simple answer to that.. They cant push a 7 year old console to have "next gen" graphics.

Pretty much everything you said I agree with. I beat the campaign in under 5 hours, got half the achievos, and felt that I had played the game before. Come to find out a cut scene was reused from MW2, that sucks and shows so little commitment from IW to get in there and make a 'new' game. I played the multi player last night, not really expecting any drastic changes, but it was a little disappointing as well. The spawns are really. really broken right now. I'll reserve other comments for another time after I have more experience and not knee jerk responses. Squad - They should have kept Spec Ops for it was more fum. Extinction - Zombies with just faster opponents, and no real objective other than to wait and shoot. It isn't as fun as Survival was. I am less than pleased with the game overall than I thought I could have been.

"HOLY SHIT THAT IS SOOOOO NEXT GEN. PLS TAKE ME MONEYZ" They didn't even bother with the PC port. I had to bitch at Steam for 10 hours before I got a refund. They don't even care anymore. And another thing: You and TB are absolutely right. With a billion dollar franchise, I expect much more production value out of their games. Enough is enough. IW, Activision. Please. Please start investing more into these games. If you really are investing, it's just not showing. Get rid of your current teams and hire people who have real talent. People who aren't afraid to take the formula, dump it out, and make something new and scary and fun. Edit: I like the squad v squad mechanic though. Bots are a good thing.
