Why does Team Rocket want Ash's pikachu so much?
I haven't seen Pokemon in ages, but if I'm not mistaken aren't there tons of Pikachus out in the world? If they spent half the amount of time and effort they could easily capture their own Pikachu. And Pikachu isn't even that powerful enough to warrant such effort, so why do they want Pikachu and why Ash's in particular? Did I miss something?

Its also one of the easiest to catch Team Rocket: Give us that Pikachu! Ash: I'LL GIVE YOU A DAMN POKE BALL!, GO CATCH ONE YOURSELF DAMNIT!!!
