The reason most people play as the same gender is because they want to create a character like them. So they can relate. Others just because they don't care and so they just do the default. Me i choose a female character because i see it as a new experience, also because i think that videogames in general could use more female protagonist in general. Also because there are already to many male characters already. Not to mention its fun messing with people.

I know, but the point I'm trying to make is, if a guy wants to play as a chick in a game it's not strange. Female protagonists in a story interest me just as much if not maybe a little more than male protagonists. I'm know girls do the same thing, being that they like to see a male protagonist in their story.
