Edited by WurstsaIat: 2/6/2014 11:11:24 AMI don't care, because I'm a Bungie fan and not an Xbox or Halo fan. I will buy the console on which I'll get the best Destiny experience. And that is the PS4 anyway, even without exclusive content.

Edited by ABotelho: 3/31/2014 7:47:36 PM
First off, Bungie is my favorite company... Ever.
Clearly not, considering you had the oppurtunity to get the console Bungie 'prefers' and didn't take it. No, Bungie isn't your favorite company, it's Microsoft.

I'm happy that PlayStation players get it 1st because we got halo and they didn't. And just because Bungie does one thing that you don't like doesn't mean that they betrayed you. It's getting annoying that some Xbox player feel betrayed, it's just annoying. I am a Xbox 360 player.

First off I have to say I also love Bungie for there work and creative aspects that they come up with. First off praising Bungie then saying your a loyal fan and showing compassion toward PSN players who will finally going to experience a Bungie game. But the then say Xbox fans is not getting any love is a bit to much... Your a loyal Xbox fan wanting to be bias toward Xbox. From a tech perspective the PS4 is hardware setup to push more graphics out. Also from marketing perspective PS4 sold more globally. Not to mention all the negative marketing Xbox one got them self's into. As a loyal Bungie fan, you should know that the type of company they are.. Games made by gamers for gamer. That hosted Halo LAN parties. Didn't fit well in with the corporate world of Microsoft. Just watch the Bungie history videos. They are trying to expand to more then just one console that they were forced into in the past and needs to play catch up with another. Xbox did not make Bungie famous but Bungie made Xbox famous using Bungie's ideas for the Xbox UI for friends list, parties, etc... I am happy that Bungie is able to finally break free from Microsoft and be an independent gaming company again. Loyal Bungie fan... Did you go back to play their previous titles before Halo? If Microsoft didn't buy out Bungie but let's say Sony did instead and Halo was on the PS would you be saying the same thing your saying now? If the roles was reversed! You played halo on the PS for years and Bungie is final independent company again... And Xbox didn't screw up their marketing but PS did. And for the first time Xbox fans is finally going to get Bungie love for the first time. Would you be saying the same thing as a PS user? Don't make a bias statement with glamorous words of appraisal as a loyal Bungie fan and compassion toward fellow gamers on another platform... To just make a bias statement... What about PC gamers... Where is their love... When are PC gamers going to get Destiny! As a IT admin, tech geek and gamer. When I see good technology, I want to see it put in all products not just a few.

Can you prove that there will NOT be any exclusive content for Xbox?
-
Quit whining about it
-
Not being rude but this does sound very selfish. Bungie betrayed you. Are you kidding me. All you Xbox fans have had call of duty dlc a month early. We never got anything. So maybe this game is for us. The playstation users. Just let it e. Like we let it be about your call of duty. Activision are trying to bring more customers in and help everyone.
-
....all I can say is lame..... COD dlc........u get what u guys deserve I play both systems and all I hear in an xbox lobby is gloating about getting dlc first so what goes around .....don't get me wrong ps people do it too and I'm sure in a few years there'll be a game that they will want to get Dlc on really bad like destiny and Xbox will get it first and then you guys will be back to gloating. It's a cycle that's never going to end unless we stop feeding the monster and creating post like this that basically reaffirmed the fact that this decision is good for business
-
Maybe you should realize why they are doing that before you throw around judgement. It was playstation who came to Bungie and asked them if they could show off the new game since it was coming to their system and not just the Xbox, like with halo. Playstation invited them in with open arms while Microsoft didn't do anything special. First come, first serve.. So now the playstation will be getting the praises from Bungie as well as the little in game exclusives. Microsoft is to blame. Not Bungie. Bungie is still the ever loving company it always is.
-
So don't buy the game.
-
Has anyone checked the date on this post? Lol failure.
Most of your fans are on Xbox, Bungie.
That's only because they were exclusive to xbox... You didn't have a choice.
We've been loyal to you for ages and will continue to do so.
Loyalty is all the Mac players, who were going to get Halo before Bungie moved it to the xbox, and bought an xbox to play Bungie's game. Having a game come out on a system you don't have, and buying the system and game anyway, that's loyalty.
I know this sounds like a jealous thing but there's more to it.

What bothers me is that Xbox gets nothing special at all?
Nope, that's still just jealousy.
Sincerely, Everyone planning on getting an Xbox first.
Speak for yourself. I'm ashamed to be associated with you and your whiney, childlike attitude.
-
All that because of beta access? Stop whining. Be happy you had all those exclusives on Xbox. You will still get this too. You Just won't get to play the slightly broken version. Chill brah!
-
I play on xbox but I am not annoyed. I understand that Bungie owes us nothing, and they are entitled to do what they need to to make money.
-
Okay guys calm down just because tonnes of people get a little butt-hurt doesn't mean they're wrong. Bungie is favouring sony this time and I'm okay with it though it gets annoying when a sony fan tries to boast. Whenever I'm feeling down about it, I just say "at least we get to play it"
-
What you're feeling is entitled. Buy a ps4 or quit bitching

Edited by Crimson Thomas: 11/15/2013 4:50:25 PM
Ready for the "get over it", "Cry some more", etc... comments.
Good! Act this stupid and you should be! The self-entitled crap that you spent several paragraphs spewing is, in the end, self-entitled crap with no solid foundation. If the basis of your rhetoric is, "Wah! Bungie, you-you owe me!" You'd be better off not posting anything here. It's an insult to the very developer studio you try to boast loyalty to. If you were truly loyal to the company, you'd respect their decision and support them. Bungie does not owe you. They don't. They were contractually obliged to make Halo for the Xbox, and now they've gone multiplatform with Destiny. They're opening doors to other platforms and no longer remaining Xbox-exclusive, it isn't about you. Gamer entitlement at it's finest, folks.

Us BUNGIE fans are getting real tired of your shit...
-
Block I play on Xbox and I don't care

Edited by FairlySplendid: 3/19/2014 5:57:40 PMCan be please stop bumping this [old] thread. All it does is make gamers look like emotionally immature and self-entitled.

Edited by Hellstar: 3/19/2014 5:58:35 PMI'm so tired of this lame complaint. I'm a Mac user and I hate that you took halo away from us Bungie. You should make Destiny for the Mac only we were your first. It not fair. Ps Halo was going to be on the Mac only. Things change get over it. It's not Halo game that they are making,so let them grow.

Let me put this into a metaphor for you: Say there are only 3 types of people in the world, and they each wear a different color shirt. One type wears green, the other wears blue, and the last type wears both (just follow along, the last one doesn't actually matter too much, as they get the best of both worlds, they just spend a LOT of extra money on both styles of shirts). Now, it doesn't really matter who's who, as it's just a clothing choice. However, say you work for a restaurant that started out selling food to everyone, but the restaurant got bought out by a company that said "You will no longer sell food to those who wear blue shirts, only to those who wear green." After the transition, you restaurant comes up with a recipe that ends up being one of the best ever created. Everyone wearing green shirts is going to be ecstatic, while those wearing blue won't be able to enjoy it. Fast forward a 10 years, and your restaurant new recipe has been better than anyone could have ever dreamed about. Now, your managers find a way to get control back in their own restaurant, and leave the former owners behind. They still have the makings of that original recipe, but they want to make it better and different, something new. Remember, this is a business after all, and you know those who have eaten with you before (green shirts) will continue to eat at the restaurant. But how do you draw in the blue shirt wearers who have never had a taste of the food? You offer free samples. Put a big sign out front that says "Welcome all those who wear blue! Come try our new menu, free sample included, and you can even try our new recipe first!" It's a good business tactic. Bring in new customers and offer them an incentive. Those who have eaten at your restaurant before know how good the food can be, and most will stick with it. Others may switch shirts just to get a taste of the new food first, but in the end, everyone makes out the same. TL:DR Moral of the story: Dude, chill. We all get it in the end.
I'm going to copy and paste this into every post I see about people complaining that PS is getting shit earlier than XB. I've been a 'green shirt' guy much more so than a 'blue shirt', and i'm actually happy Bungie is welcoming their potential new fan base with open arms, as do I.
Edited by Nemo: 3/19/2014 5:43:32 PMI was wondering if anybody else was concerned about this. I've been pretty pissed about this, and I don't accept "You get CoD shit early" as an excuse. I don't play that junk. Leave that to the PlayStation gamers, and let Bungie's original fans be rewarded for their loyalty.

I have been a Halo player/Bungie follower like you for years. The only reason I got an Xbox was to play Halo same with the 360. Think of it as Bungie freeing you. You don't have to get an Xbox any more its nice. Be a Bungie follower not a Xbox follower. P.S. I have yet to own a Sony Console and I'm pretty excited for the lineup
