Im fine with bungie doing this they are only trying to get cash by putting in a console that a majority of the gaming community prefers. I like xbox but im fine with changes as long as have destiny on xbox im fine with the choices bungies makes to keep up with its rivals

If you are a true bungie fan and its your favorite company why not just get a PS4. I mean bigger GPU will mean Destiny looks better plus you get all the benefits of that Long term exclusive partnership that sony said it entered into for destiny.

1 ReplyYou know I hate how a reasonable question was asked and people just rail on it. What they say has nothing to do with answering the question, they just make crybaby remarks and say to "get over it". I think you're all assholes. Now I want the exclusives and the PS4 is cheaper so I'm going that route. I'm hoping the dlc's aren't just skins/map packs but are full fledged quest or the like. If you've played any of the Fallout:New Vegas dlc you'll know that the dlc put together made the game a hundred times better. They're like mini campaigns. Sure I'll pay seven dollars to investigate a mysterious asteroid/planet for life (spoiler, they're hostile). Now I've heard (other comments below) though that the exclusivity is just timed and you can get the dlc on xbox after a while. If this is so I'm probably going to stick with PS4 anyway because it's cheaper and I could care less which console I get. For the beta... It's a beta, you won't miss anything as long as you get to play it. I imagine it'll be like Reach, you get a handful of maps to multiplayer through. No story, just pvp or ai hunting. I could be wrong though. I haven't read or seen anything about the beta. I want to play the game without knowing anything, save the tasty mirsels for the full play through.

I love Halo, and as a fan of almost everything Bungie has put out I don't feel betrayed at all. I mean the only reason I ever had or even considered buying the xbox was because Halo, and I'm pretty sure some people would agree with me when I say playstation is the best haha.

4 RepliesIv'e had C.E, Halo 2 and Halo 3, as well as Ps1, Ps2 and 3 and I don't feel 'betrayed'. Maybe because I don't feel obligated to buy a new console because it's new.

While I would rather the beta be on both consoles at start, I believe this is just bungie once again trying to get Sony players attention so that the Bungie fandom can continue to grow. I mean are we really going to not buy Destiny just because the beta is on playstation first? No, we will buy the game anyway because we cannot leave this fandom so easily. I don't believe fandom was the right word to use in my statement.

It doesn't bother me that Sony players get to play the beta first. Sure they get it before us Xbox players do, but it will be the very early and probably quite buggy version of the game that, when it is fully released, we all get at the same time. They get into the beta first, but most Sony players will never be able to appreciate Destiny as much as Bungie's Xbox players will.

6 RepliesI feel the same as you. Bungie is the reason I'm into gaming at all! I don't care about the beta news or even the exclusive sony stuff...it just feels a bit like a stab in the back to the majority of their fans who play on xbox. I mean if it wasn't for halo 3 or Reach I probably would have ended up getting a ps3...I'm hoping they are just doing this to convert the sony gamers who hated the games they made in the past.
