6 RepliesI feel the same as you. Bungie is the reason I'm into gaming at all! I don't care about the beta news or even the exclusive sony stuff...it just feels a bit like a stab in the back to the majority of their fans who play on xbox. I mean if it wasn't for halo 3 or Reach I probably would have ended up getting a ps3...I'm hoping they are just doing this to convert the sony gamers who hated the games they made in the past.

I think instead of feeling betrayed by Bungie, you should just be mad at Microsoft. If they wouldn't have held Bungie on such a tight leash creative wise, they wouldn't had split off from them. And if they hadn't split off Microsoft wouldn't have let them move on to such a big new world like Destiny. They would've just wanted them to keep making Halo. I went out and got a ps3 as soon as Bungie left Microsoft. There had to be a good reason.

6 RepliesYou say you are a big bungie fan. So maybe you should think a bit more about why would bungie decide to make all that early access or bonus content for PlayStation user. Maybe there are more PS gamer in the world. Maybe they want to support sony because it's easier to create games on the ps4. maybe it because they want to new fans on the ps. Maybe it's time to move on and see what the other console have to give. I really don't know. But like you have the right to choose a console to play on, bungie have the right to choose a console they want to "support more". And if you are such a big bungie fan maybe you should move with bungie to a new world and try the PlayStation. And I don't want to stay that the ps4 is the better console, both a really good. Everyone have to decide for himself

It's not betrayal. They get paid to offer certain console exclusives. So either Microsoft was outbid or they didn't bother to offer anything at all.

You're a vocal minority among us XBox owners, who is doing little more than embarrassing the majority of us who don't feel like buying into the hype.

Associating such a strong word as "betrayed" with this situation is ridiculous. If you had used the word "disappointed" instead, I might have agreed with you. (I honestly don't care too much about exclusivity though.)

Man what horrible flashbacks and feelings of Deja vu. Now the Xbox fans know a little of what it felt like when Halo was taken from Mac fans. Be glad you won't have to wait months for Destiny like Mac/PC guys did for Halo. This analogy comes to mind. Two twins, Jim and Jonh, Jim has gotten to sit in the front seat for the last ten years. Then one day Dad says 'Jim it's John's turn'. Jim has a complete $#!+ fit melt down. If I was 'Dad' I'd ignore Jim too. Explain to him later on how he's gotten all the attention over the years when a conversation like that is more conducive. He'd have to see that it is indeed his brother's turn and that in the end we're all one big happy Bungie family. Welcome my PS brethren, you've been left out for far too long.

I was a Mac guy and Halo was going to be my chance to finally have a descent game, which might have opened the gate for more developers to write for Mac. Well we all know how that went. You as the consumer can make the decision on who you buy or not. You ultimately have to ask yourself am I happy with this company and it's product and let your own hard earned cash answer the question by purchasing or not. Eventually the anger subsides and you step into the game and either some Fallen Ai attacks you or you jump on your sparrow and take it for a ride. In that moment you either forgive and have fun and it's water under the bridge. Or you pull the game from the tray and keep looking for what makes you happy.

Calling it a betrayal might be a bit harsh. I think they just got caught up in a business deal between Sony and Activision. Besides if they really wanted to stab XBOXers in the back they would not be developing for the XBOX at all.

Bungie is crushing the spirit we had slowly with each announcement. if they don't think we should be a part of the "Destiny party" then i hate to say it, but i don't care much for Bungie anymore either. The guy just said he has a "partnership with sony" after all of their bitching about the partnership with ms they go lay in bed with the other cute girl. they were acting like "we just wanna be free man, we are the cool company." yet they can not show evidence of that. they are fakes and assholes.

They never forgot their roots on the Macintosh... oh wait... you might have a reason to worry :P Seriously, Xbox fanboys need to relax a lot... Bungie was only dedicated to Microsoft and halo because of a deal that they made in the past but the studio has jumped between systems several times in the past.

I'm going to play Destiny on PS 4. But it's a cross Platform title so I don't understand why xb players shouldn't get the same beta access. That's really not fair to prefer people just of the decission, what console they have or going to get.

7 RepliesWell, Microsoft and Bungie didn't end on a great note and I don't think they are too happy at seeing their baby murdered by 3Fail3i. Besides the PS4 is going to be the better console for gamers and destiny is a game. Not a watercooler or a DVR.
