Maintenance items that you should never cheap out on or neglect?
What are maintenance items on your car that you should cheap out on or neglect? Tires are probably the biggest one in my opinion. I can't believe people neglect their tires.

Edited by Picklesandgravy: 11/22/2013 6:29:31 PMTiming belt, some engines drop the valves into the combustion chamber if it breaks and then you officially have a nice large paper weight. Ball joints and tie rods are another one, you don't want to be driving and have your front tire decide to flop under the car. Always keep your tires balanced and alignment in check too.
