Not sure if there is a vaccine for it, but if this plague came back and did what it did back in the medieval times, but also exceed it. Do you think we could beat it?

>Thinks it has gone >Thinks it's un-treatable There's this magical thing called medicine.

Yeah, just take a bath and wear fresh clothes daily.

Edited by ZUON: 11/26/2013 5:30:38 PMIt's here and there, but it's mostly gone now.

That's funny, we were just talking about this in class. OT: Yes we could treat it.

Bubonic plague comes and goes even till this day. Fuck, those squirrels that you see running around at camp grounds carry the shit. So do chipmunks. They closed a campground about 20 minutes from me because a ground squirrel was found to be carrying the plague. Though with modern medicine the plague is no where near as lethal. We've had hundreds of years dealing with that shit. We know how to combat it, hell, we even know of a gene that blocks it from attacking cells. The next super bug will be something new. Maybe a new form of the flu or something. Viruses like the Plague, Smallpox, and Spanish Flu have run their course and we learned a lot from combating them.
-
I think so anyway.

Yes we can. If we treat it at the right time. Most people don't know in 2002, someone was diagnosed with it In New York City. Here is the story If the bubonic plague is caught at the right time, in it's first 2 stages it can be killed and easily recovered. But once in the later stages, it is almost unstoppable.
-
probably if we recreated the vaccine for it
-
It's still around.

Edited by BaconShelf: 11/26/2013 7:19:27 AMI tried this on an iPhone game called Plague. Inc. Everyone apart from New Zealand and Madagascar died. So yes, we could beat it.
