Games with Gold for December
Gears of War until the 15th. Shoot Many Robots for the rest of the month.
Germany and Japan get Halo Wars (instead of Gears, I assume).

Darn, I kinda would have liked to try Halo Wars. Never cared much for Gears but might as well have something to fill all this spare time I'll be having soon on Christmas break. Although I still haven't even play more than an hour of Fable III I got back whenever they gave that away.

4 RepliesI'll be trying out GoW I suppose. Are Microsoft's free games inferior to those in the PS+ offering? Yes. Considering the different models for their distribution ("for-keeps" vs. rent) however, this shouldn't be surprising. MICROSOFT WILL NOT GIVE AWAY FAIRLY NEW GAMES EN MASSE UNDER THE GAMES WITH GOLD MODEL. I hope the selection stays decent but don't expect much unless MS begins making these games "borrow-only."

It's sad that the newest game the have giving us for this is Fable 3 which is bad and considered the worst in the series. You rent them, but PS plus is far better than this shit. At least you get games that at not 7 years old.

Wow, actually looking forward to this. G w/ G has done some pretty decent games lately, I was happy to finally get my hands on Halo 3 and Geas of War will be fun to try.
