This is one of the funniest things I have ever read. For those who don't know, the Duffel Blog is pretty much "The Onion" only for the US military. I highly suggest reading through the articles on this website because they are all freaking hilarious.
I just love the radio chatter between the HQ and the guys on the ground.

Thank you for showing me this site!

Edited by A Wild Sceptile: 12/2/2013 11:02:58 PMAlways love reading me some Duffel Blog. My favorite one was the Marine Commandant going crazy and firing the whole corps.

I thought it sounded familiar.

Cirith Ungol is a place in middle earth I believe.
the village of Cirith Ungol
Like, honestly... funniest part of the whole article. When they start talking about why they didn't think there was actually a giant spider.
Anthropod doubles as slang for Jew
lol again.
If the Navy, for example, flies one of its aircraft out of Naval Air Station Oceana near Virginia Beach, all North Korea has to do is scramble fighter jets from its airfield near Wonsan, conduct multiple air-to-air refuelings using its advanced network of Pacific and Canadian airbases, then intercept it a mere eighteen hours later.
lol

THEY FOUND THE WMD'S MAN GAME OVER, GAME OVER
-
In the comments, the guy talking about the giant camel spider... *shudders*
-
Oh man, read this!
-
That was amusing, but it's not excessively funny enough for me to laugh at it. Good post though.
-
That was hilarious, I'm gonna have to look at their other articles.
-
Oh God, that was hysterical. I lost it at the "Game over" reference.
