I have awared of recent density details from reddit and I'm disturbed by how similar this game is to shadowrun. I quote the following points as follows:
Pressing the jump button twice executes your focus' special movement (glide, double jump, teleport)
wtf bunge sprint didn't work in the last game and now you're giving people the ability to teleport? not cool what if i'm fighting him and he teleports on top of a building and then suddenly i'm getting animated. why can we double jump now this is hallo not crash bandicoot bunge you're stealing ideas again. it's gonna be too easy to run away from fights and i'm not gonna get any kills.
Weapons and armor can also improve stats and abilities. Bungie team decided to not take the route of incremental numerical differences and rather focused of more descriptive potential (like boosting speed, reducing headshot damage, enhancing a specific ability, speeding up health regeneration etc...).
WTF perks why are you copying call duty with perks in density again? How will I know who has a super helmet to stop my bullets? What if I'm shooting somebody on mars and he teleports to venus? This game isn't supposed to be random bunge. What's worse is you cna make the movement abilities faster? totally excited for captain falcons with super sprint + teleport and knife pro on.
Pressing both left+right bumper activates the super ability.
wtf bunge you can't spawn people with fuel rods they're just gonna spam before everyfight. what if a guy teleports above me and then novabombs my whole team and then super sprints back to his team? that isn't hallo bunge get your shit together
Shifting environmental features can be used to our advantage or determent (position of the suns glare, changing mechanisms that block paths or sight)
wtf get this jj abrams shit out of my hallo. you already put too many lens flares in halp 4 i have to visit my optometrist after playing. the only shifting structure that would make sense is a giant bridge that erects itself in the middle of the map. the other guardians, paralyzed by its majestic girth, will never suspect my teleportation falcon punch to the nape of their necks. I'll show you how to adapt.
it's okay though, i can save hallo density before it becomes a disaster again. just let me slap sage with a net woodle a few hundred times until he stops trying to remake shadowrun. it's not happening.
#destiny satire aside, the quotes are real and do bring up some legitimate concerns. What do you make of pvp as we know it thus far?
-
Too long.. But I have always thought the blink in D was remarkably similar to the teleport in shadow run.. Minus the going through walls
-
Look at that date xD (And by the way, where are those headshot helmets?)
-

-
9.5/10 lol
#destiny satire aside, the quotes are real and do bring up some legitimate concerns. What do you make of pvp as we know it thus far
The Only person Dense is you -1/10 troll. You have little tact. your juvenile descriptions make it sound as if this was street fighter. If you do not like the game do not buy it. Other wise your stupid commentary just shows how ignorant you really are.

The teleport definately won't be to building, prolly just a little ahead

Edited by TechnoKat: 12/7/2013 3:59:31 AM6/10, Too long, lost interest about two-thirds through. that having been said, movement specials are more than likely going to be extremely limited, due to the issues with Reach. The environmental Hazards probably wont be too harsh, and like with any of Halo's Active Camo, will be easily seen though with "trained" eyes Super's I bet will work along the lines of Defiance's Active skills (i.e OverCharge, Blur, Cloak and... whatever the last one was <.>) and will have a single, or multiple (Probably no more than 3 or 4 depending on the Super) use(s) with a decently moderate recharge time. "Perks", rather Armor Buffs will be pretty broken at launch I expect. all that being said these will likely be so OP until it becomes an issue that Activision and Bungie cant ignore, then they'll be nerf'd to hell and back and just maybe, MAYBE balance out in the 4th patch (If not, maybe the 6th). All in all I'll probably stay FAAAAAAR away from PVP until the green light is given.

I saw this thread in the latest page like five different times before I noticed the "Density".
-
10/10, through and through.
-
9/10 - Very nice work.
-
I suppose "Density" is doing that eh?
-
Well, there goes Destiny multiplayer.
-
-
In all that crap there is some truth like the speed boosts, didn't work in reach won't work in destiny
-
I really enjoyed reading this.

tl/dr in response to your legitimate question at the end, i think it will be an interesting experience. im reserving final judgment for the beta next month; after which i believe Bungie will take our feedback into consideration for the final product. however, some of your troll questions did raise legitimate concerns, such as nova bomb wiping an entire team, or perhaps even exotic gear being almost required for multiplayer. something similar happens in other online pvp in gear-based mmo's, that being armor designed specifically for pvp. at the beginning of a new expansion it doesn't matter so much, but later on its practically a necessity. i have faith that Bungie will solve these issues but until then it is an interesting question to ponder...

Hurr hurr hurr Density OI GET iIT BUANANA

Rustling is your Destiny

muted for being such troll!

I agree.

The only thing I really want is competitive mp details. Carrying the xp stuff into competitive matches is scary. Even with 0 heavy ammo. Honestly, I expected some sort of explanation about why guardians can't fight each other with their xp stuff. Like they're saving it for aliens. So, in arena matches, for the sake of sportsmanship, they have even br starts. :)

Hmm was kind of funny until you started pretending to think it was 'hallo'

Destiny is a good game, but a bad Halo game.
