The results for the Japan Media Arts festival is out. The Grand Prize in the Animation Division went to a French Film [i][url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approved_for_Adoption]Couleur de peau: miel[/url][/i]. All Excellence Awards went to Japanese Productions this year. The winners are: [i]The Eccentric Family[/i] Director: Masayuki Yoshihara [i]Golden Time[/i] Director: Takuya Inaba [i]Sakasama no Patema[/i] Director: Yasuhiro Yoshiura [i][b][u]Evangelion Shin Gekijouban: Q[/u][/b][/i] Director: Hideaki Anno Anno Previously won the Excellence Award in 1997 for [i]End of Evangelion[/i]. It is one of the most prestigious Animation Awards in Japan. Now if only 3.0 was actually good, then the prize would seem more appropriate.
