It's probably my favorite proof of concept game all said and done. If I could have more games with similar mechanics, I'd buy them in a heart beat.
While the aesthetics of the game really resonated with me (and everyone else), and I did enjoy the stories, I wasn't always interested in where it went, I felt like it could've had more everything - Everything else is there, it just needs some good writing to be leaps and bounds above most games.
But not contrary to damn near everybody, the game needs a complete overhaul of it's combat mechanics, -blam!- that shit.

Nothing could be more infuriating when you're running around and you try to use a gun or something against an enemy, only for aiming to be sucky as hell, or you to not be able to properly counter or deal with an enemy. It could be infuriating sometimes.
